Post 7: Changes to my study program

Today's blog is about the career of public administration and its curriculum.

Public administration is a career focused on the vocation of public service and the relations between the State and the people. About its curriculum, I think it is one of the universities with the most complete content program, since it includes a multidisciplinary vision in which we learn about law, mathematics, statistics, public management, accounting and in general, things related to the administration of the State.

This career lasts ten semesters and in the last two we have the possibility of specializing in public management or political science, regarding this I think that the academic load so far I have coped well and teaching methods, in general I liked, but perhaps if the classes were face-to-face it would not be the same, I would probably not feel like studying when I get home, so the class schedule is something that I would change, as well as the amount of practical classes and professional practice possibilities.

As for the use of technologies, I have not had the chance to know how they work, because the lectures are short and we do not have much opportunity to go around, likewise the infrastructure of the School of Government and Public Management is a bit small and with fewer amenities than other faculties, but the new faculty is already under construction and I hope to get to know it before finishing the race.

I look forward to reading your opinions! Best regards!

Post 6: Time travel to the future

Hello everyone! Today I bring you a post about the future.

The truth is that I´m not very optimistic about the future, I think that in a few more years we will be even more complicated with climate change and we will have water shortages, few animals and plants and almost no clean air. However, if I think of a more positive future I would think of the technologies and advances that will exist by the year 2050 or 2100 and probably there if I would like to be.

Maybe we will be able to travel not only to other countries, but to other planets, know life beyond planet earth, communicate in other ways, go about our daily lives in other ways and be in a much more developed world. If I could do some of this, definitely to know the moon or Mars would be excellent because we could know if all those stories that say that there is water and life on other planets are real or not.

Anyway, I think it's not an era I would stay in because I imagine it's a life with less contact with other people and very individualistic because of technological advances, so for now I prefer to live in the present.

And you, would you take a trip to the future?

Post 5: My future job

Hello everyone!

Since I was little the idea of working helping people is something that motivates me a lot, so I decided to dedicate my life to work for and with people. Although I was never very clear about what area I wanted to work in, I always thought that this was my ideal life.

I first wanted to study medicine to give hope and heal people, but I realized that it was not the area I wanted. That's why I decided to go into public administration, because I felt I could make a change and have an impact on people's lives.

From the beginning, my ideal job has been in a ministry, although I don´t have a clear preference of which one I would like, I think it is a space where you work in a team, which allows you to learn realities and make the State get closer to citizens and work on their demands. I imagine it is a job in offices and I would love it if it would allow me to work and travel to learn about world leaders and things we could apply in our country.

I look forward to reading your posts! Greetings!
